PedroManX, also known and abbreviated as PMX (born: September 8), is a Brazilian YouTuber and Super Mario 64 machinimist who joined YouTube on April 15, 2014, uploading his first Super Mario 64 Machinima video to his channel in June 30, 2018.

Content style

Inspired by the legacy style of the Australian SM64 machinimist SMG4, PedroManX's content is characterized by a focus on comedy and bizarre situations, frequently using visuals and sound effects to achieve its humor. The latest content from the channel uses a mix of Garry's Mod and SM64 Machinima in its animation. Humorous story-based machinimas, given title of "bloopers", are the channel's primary focus, while the channel also has begun featuring the Bowser Plays series, consisting of gameplay machinima content hosted by Bowser. In his videos of the blooper style, he has a doppelganger called Shadow P. (or Shadow Pedro).

Most of PedroManX's SM64 Machinima videos are captioned in Portuguese, with English subtitles available on some. His later uploads from 2022 onward are captioned mostly in English, with subtitles available in Portuguese.

Besides for SM64 Machinima, PedroManX has experimented with a few other content forms, including fan-music and music remixes.

Channel history

For the first four years or so of the channel, PedroManX primarily uploaded Minecraft content before the channel's first machinima upload on June 30, 2018. Since this point, PedroManX has made machinima and other Mario-related content the channel's main creative focus. 2019 saw the channel pass 500 subscribers, and about a year later, PedroManX doubled that total, reaching 1 thousand. In 2020, PedroManX also participated in the Who Let the Chomp Out : Rebloopered collab event, submitting an 18-second portion for the video project. Another major collaboration event, the 5 Seconds collab, received a two-part collection of entries from PMX in 2021. Early in 2022, PedroManX crossed the 5 thousand subscriber threshold.

Close to the beginning of 2023, PedroManX introduced Bowser Plays, a video series in which Bowser plays through a video game in a format resembling the traditional style of recorded gameplay footage and player camera overlay. The video Bowser plays: DOORS HOTEL + UPDATE Ft. Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi, uploaded this year, has become PedroManX's most viewed, passing 1 million views. In March 2023, PedroManX reached the milestone of 10 thousand subscribers, gaining over 8 thousand more since then.

Role in Super Mario 64 Machinima

PedroManX, the character, is a recolored version of Super Mario with a light blue shirt, blue overalls, and gray shoes. Some depictions of the character include a cap emblem which bears the PMX alias.

As depicted in PedroManX's bloopers, PedroManX is someone who's willing to team up with a hyper-silly Mario, but also at times annoyed by the chaotic nature and inability to take things seriously displayed by Mario and some other characters. However, PedroManX is also occasionally prone to exhibit a silliness similar to that displayed by Mario.
